Our Mission
At Mindful Alignment Consulting, we partner with families, educators, and communities to guide learners toward educational environments where they can thrive. Through the combined wisdom of teaching and therapeutic practice, we support school navigation, advocate for neurodiverse needs, and foster resilience with trauma-informed care. We also collaborate with schools and institutions to build inclusive, healing-centered systems that align with learners’ values and potential. Our work is rooted in compassion, clarity, and a deep commitment to whole-community alignment.
Emily Agyemang, Licensed Educator & Integrated Education, Mental Health and Parenting Consultant
With over 18 years of experience in Denver-area schools, I help families and the professionals who support them make informed, child-centered educational decisions. I guide parents through school selection, components of parenting plans, and behavioral support needs, offering clear, research-backed recommendations across public, private, charter, and specialized programs tailored to each child’s unique needs, learning style, and development.
My background includes teaching in early childhood and elementary settings, leading alternative programs, and working extensively with students with special needs. This experience allows me to support complex placement decisions involving learning differences, giftedness, behavioral concerns, and family transitions. Parents save hours of research and gain confidence in their choices, while pediatricians and family law professionals benefit from clear, objective educational insight that supports documentation and better outcomes for children.
Whitney Lovett MA, LPC
As a co-founder of Mindful Alignment Consulting, and a licensed clinical professional, I bring over 15 years of leadership experience developing and directing innovative, equity-driven programs across mental health, reentry, and educational systems. Grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural humility, my work centers on promoting well-being for justice-impacted individuals and system-involved families—particularly children and youth navigating complex educational and emotional landscapes.
Drawing from a background in operational strategy, clinical supervision, and policy advocacy I’ve built sustainable programs that bridge care across corrections, schools, and community networks. Whether guiding families through school-of-choice transitions or aligning behavioral health strategies with districts I lead with compassion, clarity, and a steadfast belief in aligning values with purposeful pathways for growth and healing.
