Our Mission

At Mindful Alignment Consulting, we partner with families, educators, and communities to guide learners toward educational environments where they can thrive. Through the combined wisdom of teaching and therapeutic practice, we support school navigation, advocate for neurodiverse needs, and foster resilience with trauma-informed care. We also collaborate with schools and institutions to build inclusive, healing-centered systems that align with learners’ values and potential. Our work is rooted in compassion, clarity, and a deep commitment to whole-community alignment.

Emily Agyemang, Licensed Educator & School Placement Consultant

With over 18 years of experience in Denver-area schools, I help parents navigate the often overwhelming process of choosing the right school for their child. From public to private, charter to specialized programs, I provide families with clear, research-backed comparisons and practical recommendations tailored to their child’s needs, personality, and learning style.

My background includes teaching across early childhood and elementary grades, leading alternative programs, and working extensively with students who have special needs. This allows me to guide families through even the most challenging placement decisions—whether it’s finding a school that can provide extra support, a setting that fosters gifted learners, or a balanced environment for social and academic growth.

Parents who work with me save hours of research, gain insider knowledge of Denver’s school landscape, and feel confident they are making the best possible choice for their child’s future.

Whitney Lovett MA, LPC

As a co-founder of Mindful Alignment Consulting, and a licensed clinical professional, I bring over 15 years of leadership experience developing and directing innovative, equity-driven programs across mental health, reentry, and educational systems. Grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural humility, my work centers on promoting well-being for justice-impacted individuals and system-involved families—particularly children and youth navigating complex educational and emotional landscapes.

Drawing from a background in operational strategy, clinical supervision, and policy advocacy I’ve built sustainable programs that bridge care across corrections, schools, and community networks. Whether guiding families through school-of-choice transitions or aligning behavioral health strategies with districts  I lead with compassion, clarity, and a steadfast belief in aligning values with purposeful pathways for growth and healing.
